Top iPhone XR deal gets you 50GB data for £38 a month – with NO upfront cost

If you’re in the market for a new iPhone, you might want to consider the iPhone XR.

A larger display than the iPhone SE, and cheaper than the iPhone 11 – and we’ve seen a top deal.

The iPhone XR’s desighn is still one to admire

The iPhone XR is still a fine phone: with it you get high-quality hardware at a cheaper price than the iPhone 11.

And the current market leading deal looks to be from online retailer Fonehouse.

With nothing to pay upfront, the deal costs £38 a month, and you get 50GB of data.

You’ll also get unlimited texts and minutes across the two-year contract, provided by EE – plus a 1-year Apple TV+ subscription

A contract of two years might feel like a long time for a phone released in 2018.

But the XR has stayed in the market for a key reason: continual demand and strong features.

While not at the level of the iPhone 11, the iPhone XR has a few key inclusions which make it worth considering, especially against the iPhone SE – though it can be tricky to see how the three compare.

Crucially the XR still receives iOS updates, with access to the latest software and security patches.

It’s also a capable smartphone in its own right – and although it technically has a slower processor than the iPhone SE, it wins in some key areas.

Not only does the iPhone XR still look great, it also uses Apple’s ‘notched’ all-screen design.

With a large display of 6.1-inches, it has around an inch and a half on the SE’s own display and is the same size as that of the iPhone 11.

Its battery beats the iPhone SE by a couple of hours, while its 64GB storage and camera specs are on a par with the newer release.

Finally, it still has the look and feel of a premium smartphone, and will cost you £629 SIM-free – £200 more than the SE.

With that in mind, the iPhone XR should still be a strong contender if you’re looking at iPhones.

And Fonehouse’s current deal is the best we can see available right now.
